Neutral studio ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use the Datelio mobile app ("the App"). Datelio is for adults aged 18 and over only.
1. Information we collect
Account information: your email address (or sign-in credentials provided by the login method you choose).
Profile information you provide: name, date of birth, gender, who you want to meet, bio, interests, and photos you upload.
Location: approximate location, which we round so that your exact position is not shown to other users. It is used to show people near you and the approximate distance.
Activity in the App: likes, super likes, passes, matches, and the messages you send and receive.
Purchase information: if you buy a subscription or item, Google Play processes the payment. We receive confirmation of the purchase, not your card details.
Advertising data: if you choose to watch a rewarded ad, Google AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID and technical device information to serve and measure ads.
Technical data: basic device and app information (such as app version and crash information) needed to keep the App working and secure.
2. How we use information
To create your account and show your profile to other users.
To suggest profiles, enable matches and deliver messages.
To process purchases and rewards (for example, extra Likes after you watch an ad).
To keep the App safe: preventing fraud, fake profiles, harassment and underage use, and handling reports.
To fix bugs and improve the App.
3. Who we share information with
Other users: your profile information (name, age, photos, bio, interests, approximate distance) is visible to other users. Messages are visible to the person you send them to.
Service providers: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage hosting), Google Play (payments) and Google AdMob (advertising). They process data only to provide their services.
Legal and safety: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of users.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Advertising
The App offers optional rewarded video ads. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may use your advertising ID. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your Android settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads). Where required (for example in the EEA and UK), we ask for your consent before showing personalised ads.
5. Data retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account inside the App (Settings > Delete account) or by following the steps at delete-account.html. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, photos, matches and messages, except for limited records we may need to keep for legal, fraud-prevention or security reasons, which are kept only as long as necessary.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to withdraw consent. You can edit most information directly in the App. For anything else, email us at datelio.support@gmail.com.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Datelio is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor is using the App, contact us and we will remove the account.
9. International transfers
Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country. By using the App you understand that your data may be transferred and processed there.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we will notify you in the App. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version.
